I may know how to play with and create graphics, build traditional websites and fiddle with audio, video and other print media, but for the life of me, installing a blog has me sytmied! Everyone tells you how simple it is but it isn’t! There are plug ins and widgets and rss and blogrolls, oh my! I feel like I need to look for the Wizard of Oz to unravel all this stuff. I am no longer sold on FREE WP templates, as I’m on my 3rd one and each one has issues. bugs or things missing, etc. You may likely find a totally different look here next time you visit.
By now I wanted to have a bunch of posts up and some cool tips and videos to share and I’m stuck on the installation of this darn thing. OH WELL.
Best laid plans, as they say.
I guess it’s time to call out the WPCoder I used recently who saved me on another blog and belly up to the bar and get my wallet out. Although I have to admit, these guys were great and VERY reasonable. I guess it will be WPCoder to the rescue once again!
Come back soon and hopefully there will be lots more here next time!
Christine

Christine…i love that you changed your name on this twitter account; it personalizes it. I too like the background you have chosen. There aren’t alot of tweets yet…but the ones that are there…start to share your personality with the world. That is great. A few suggestions? You can delete this comment after you read it…it is just meant to be helpful.
In your bio; it might be a great idea to put your link to your other twitter id/ and or, add a page that tells of your skills and what you have to offer a potential client and include what you do for a business…the services you offer…on top of the box of buttons. It is ok to cross reference your sites and blogs or business ventures. People need to see what you do to hire you, right?
Maybe have a page up that lists the services or skills that you have to offer…so that when people are in need of them…they know exactly how to get you on board with their projects for cash! I hope these suggestions are helpful…and dont come across as rude criticism. It was not meant in that vein. It is just when i clicked on your blog link…it looked like a spam site…because there wasn’t any posts or anything there to capture a prospective client’s attention! If i can be of help in any way…let me know. Delete this after reading…please!
Congratulations Christine…This looks super. I know it can feel overwhelming…but i want to say kudos to you for sticking to it and making it happen! You are awesome and great things are coming your way! http://www.writeasrain.wordpress.com
Oh, Christine! I’m so excited for you! I know you have sweat bullets and blue gumdrops over this~it was worth ALL your effort! It’s so beautiful and there is so much information on it.
You are an impressive young woman, Christine and you have a great product to offer the world. I’m so proud of all the action you have taken; you’ll make a huge splash!
I wish you every success, dear heart, and when you make the big time I’ll be able to say “I knew Christine when…”
